What: Saint Louis Charitable Foundation Presents The Children's Art Project
"An Auction and Cocktail Party"
St. Louis children who have been touched by cancer, and kids who want to help kids with cancer (Rossman School), donate their original artwork to be framed and auctioned to raise money for "The Cause, The Cure, and Everything in Between!"
When: Thursday, September 27, 2007, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Who: The Saint Louis Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides support to local cancer patient groups and related outreach programs. This year, the auction beneficiaries are the Friends of Kids with Cancer Art Therapy Program, St. Louis Children's Hospital Child Life Services & Art Therapy Program, and Terri's Tutors Churchill Center & School.
Why: Art Therapy is a program that offers children an opportunity to participate in a beneficial and enjoyable form of therapy. The featured artists will be children from each hospital, as well as their friends and family, all of whom will be donating their art to the project. The children's art gallery will be open to the public and all of the proceeds will do directly to our charitable partners.
